  The last time I wrote a blog posting we were in Colorado.  We are now home after traveling over 8,000 miles and traveling through 25 states.  It was an adventure of a lifetime for us and we are so thankful that God traveled each and every mile with us.  We felt His guidance and protection everyday of the trip!  As our trip was winding down and we were close to arriving home I was trying to sort out my feelings about arriving home.  I was excited and at the same time was feeling sad that the trip was over.  It really bothered me for about a week that I couldn't sort out how I was feeling.  I either wanted to be sad that the trip was over or excited about going home.  I wanted everything, even my feelings, to be sorted out into a neat, little, tidy package!  That isn't how life goes is it?!  One morning I was walking through a campground where we were staying and I was thinking about my feelings about the trip and returning home.  It occurred to me that what I was struggling with was not a problem at all but was rather indeed a BLESSING!!! I remembered the Bible verse in Philippians 4:11 where Paul talks about being content in whatever the circumstance.  I was content if I was living on the road or living at home in New Hampshire or living on the plains in Colorado.  The source of my contentment comes from the Lord and it is He that gives us strength in all situations as Paul says in Philippians 4:13 "I can do everything through him who gives me strength".  Now that we are home, we have jumped right into getting home projects done so that we can move out to Colorado.  There is much to do and we have a goal set to have everything ready to go by the end of the August of this year.  In the midst of this huge adventure of moving out to Colorado I am glad to say that we are content and we are blessed!  God gives us strength and is the true source of our contentment.  We serve a faithful and loving God who is all knowing and all powerful and He is there directing us and guiding us just as he did over our 8,000 mile trip.
